Virtual Cultural Events Global education and Intercultural Competency is a central pillar to Virtual Immersion Communities´ work and mission. We have networked a talented group of artists, musicians, scientists, historians, teachers and culinary experts living in different countries all over the world to present and interact live with your learning groups. Virtual Immersion Communities knows that these events become pivotal points for a student to further engage in their lifelong journey of learning. Custom event: Virtual Immersion Communities will help you design and host a cultural event from our menu to engage your learners in authentic interaction with the world while building competencies in the target language Your students will learn about the topic discussed, ask and answer questions and engage in an interactive follow up activity. Around the World Series of Events: Providing diversity in educational opportunity is a fundamental goal for many of our institutions and departments. Contracting a global event once a month not only enables your learners to interact with life outside of their everyday environment, it also fosters relationships with other cultures that lead to deeper global understanding. Around the World is a series of monthly cultural events for ten months from a variety of countries and languages from the far ends of the earth. It includes pre-event curriculum, the hosted event with live interaction and a follow up activity for reflection.
